Pregnancy Journey & Fall

In March we found out that we are going to be having a little one join our family in December.  So we are getting ready.  Getting ready for our little one and getting ready for the next adventure around the corner.

My frist trimester was a bit hard with all of the nausea and then Summer hit.  2nd trimester was the best to have in the Summer- we went camping at Foster Lake and then later to Crater Lake for our Anniversary.  I tried to spend every moment I could outside so that Ethan would enjoy the sun while he could.  I bought him a balance bike at the beginning of Summer and he has now mastered the bike and loves it!  Rides it almost every day or at least several times a week.  This was also a fun summer in that at the end of July we had our ultra sound to find out what sex the baby is.  To our excitement, we are having a girl this time around!  Ethan is so excited about baby, as my belly is big and she is moving enough for him and Mark to feel every once and a while.  It is very fun to know she is alive and kicking.

We are getting ready for fall now and Ethan's birthday- as he turns 3!  He loves Toy Story everything/anything, so as you can imagine, Toy Story will be the theme of his party:) We have also been working on putting together baby girl (Kaylee Ann) Freed's room.   Ethan see's all the baby toys and asks to play with them, it is pretty cute and fun to get them out of storage again.  This trimester I will get to look forward to some baby showers and I'm thrilled to be getting some pinks and purples, etc. in my closet for our little girl when she arrives.  I'm starting to think about washing onesies that Ethan used to wear- the white ones and will still be perfect for our little girl.

I'm quite sure I am nesting now!  But I'm happy to get ready for all the fall things as I prefer to do it now rather than when I'm too pregnant to care anymore:)
